How long have you worked at GAS?
I started early March 2017, so nearly three years.
How would you describe GAS in five words or less?
Amazing, rewarding, positive and an easy commute!
How would you describe your role in three words?
Rewarding, changeable and enjoyable.
Have you always worked in the energy sector? If not, what other sectors have you worked in?
I have since moving back to the North East. Before, I worked in Industry (Shipyards in Sunderland), Hospitality (Hilton International), The Voluntary Sector (British Diabetic Assoc and Action for Children – a children’s charity), property development, magazine sales (Food&Wine magazine in Dublin) and radio (Gaydio in Manchester).
What are your professional aspirations?
To be professional, successful and respected within my field.
Top 3 tips for anybody looking to carve a career in the industry?
Get an understanding of the market, work outside the box and don’t set boundaries – it’s a big world out there.
