Friday Scheme Makes Staff Feel Fabulous

At Great Annual Savings Group we’ve introduced a new initiative called Feel Fab Fridays. The timing of the launch seems appropriate now that we’ve completed our move to new offices in Seaham.
Every month we do something different. One Friday we held a pool competition to raise money for Global Radio’s Make Some Noise campaign, a national charity that helps disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.

A good day was had by all and amid all of the fun – not to mention the competitive rivalry around the pool table – we managed to raise more than £50 for what is a very worthy cause. The winner of the pool competition received the added bonus of an extra half day holiday.
We’ve also had Virgin Active on-site to raise awareness of corporate membership deals for staff, provide BMI (body mass index) testing and give away goody bags.

We encourage staff to come forward with ideas for activities on Feel Fab Fridays. We have other initiatives in the pipeline, including a visit from Mercure, Boldon and George Washington hotel representatives to provide discounts for hotel, gym and spa days. Staff can even have a relaxing hand and arm massage which can provide significant health benefits as well as making them feel fabulous.

Friday rolls into Saturday this weekend and our top team is going out on an all-expenses paid night out to a great restaurant where staff can celebrate in style for a fantastic achievement.

At Great Annual Savings Group we’ll continue to look for ways of motivating and engaging our staff as we create a brilliant and fun working environment.
