At Great Annual Savings Group our “Feel Fab Fridays” scheme is going down a treat with our workforce. We launched it last month, shortly after moving to our brand new office in Seaham, to incentivise staff and thank them for all of their hard work during the week.
Every time we do something different, from hosting pool competitions to offering free hand massages. We’ve also had Virgin Active on-site to raise awareness of corporate membership deals for staff, provide BMI (body mass index) testing and give away goody bags.
One of our most popular activities was our recent event to promote the benefits of health and well-being to staff. Representatives from the George Washington Hotel came along to give relaxing hand and arm massages and carry out BMI tests. Workers also got the chance to buy luxury skincare products, receive free goody bags and get generous discounts for using the hotel (and its fantastic gym, golf and spa facilities).
Not only did our staff attend but our neighbours on the Spectrum Business Park – including property firm Novus, Durham County Council and Durham Housing – also popped in to take part in what was a thoroughly enjoyable event.
Our Feel Fab Fridays have really taken off and it’s great to see so many of our workforce buying into the concept. As ever, we encourage staff to come forward with ideas for future activities and we really value their input. Our aim is to provide them with a brilliant, fun working environment which keeps them motivated, happy and productive. That will be great for them and great for our business as the Great Annual Savings Group success story unfolds.
