Great Annual Savings Group (GAS) has entered an affiliate partnership with Engineering and Manufacturing Network (EMN), becoming its preferred energy supplier.
The network becomes GAS’ latest partnership, following other regional bodies such as the SME Centre of Excellence, Durham BID, Sunderland BID and the North East Automotive Alliance in recommending the Group’s cost reduction expertise to members.
GAS will work with EMN companies to access free advice and support on energy strategy; account management; premises audits; training; and access to market-leading procurement rates.
The EMN, formerly known as County Durham Engineering and Manufacturing Network, supports the continued growth of the region’s engineering and manufacturing industries through expert support and access to the assistance they need to realise their full potential.
Phil Andrew, Associate Director of Customer Experience at GAS, said: “We’re delighted to agree this long-term partnership with EMN.
“We are fully committed to helping businesses in the region to be more energy efficient, in turn reducing their monthly overheads, and that’s exactly what this partnership is all about.
“We know many companies are paying more than they’re need to and aren’t aware of where in their business they could be more efficient, so we’ll be here to support them and hopefully, save them money.”
Ben Gilhespy is Operations Director of EMN. He said: “We’re delighted to announce GAS as our affiliate partner and preferred energy supplier.
“We know energy is a critical area for businesses with many becoming much more aware of their energy consumption. Through this partnership with GAS they will have access to free advice and health checks which could ultimately help them reduce their energy bills.”
