Formed in 2012, Great Annual Savings Group (GAS) was established to provide  business cost saving services to companies across the North East of England. Scaling exponentially, we have quickly transformed from a regional enterprise to national provider, with the entrepreneur-led group also incorporating a football club and newly created GF Community Foundation, focused on supporting local communities and addressing key social issues.

Can you grow and develop exciting corporate partnerships for the GAS Group?

As a Business Development Manager, you will help us build sustainable, long-term mutually beneficial relationships with corporate partners, so they reach their full potential.

  • Standard weekday hours with a 3pm finish on a Friday – the first company in our sector to offer an improved work/life balance. Accept no imitations!
  • Feel Valued with our Financials; basic salary is a direct reflection of your success in sales and could be anything from £25K to £50K, + generous commission + month-following payments. Plus, a company vehicle or car allowance.

A self-motivated, tenacious, and driven Business Development Manager, with a gift for quickly building strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, someone who can hit the ground running. We are looking for experienced individuals with a proven track record in developing and retaining partnerships, increasing income and value to our organisation through strong negotiation and relationship building.

What you will do:

  • Utilise your existing client portfolio to introduce opportunities to us, through networking, partnerships arrangements and referral.
  • Build a pipeline of prospective new business whilst still being able to hit revenue targets through quick return business.
  • Offer a range of services from our incredible cost-saving portfolio, including the procurement of Energy, Waste, Water & Merchant Services.
  • You will be assisted by an office-based Pricing Specialist to manage the technicalities and administration of each potential sale.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales revenue targets & KPIs.

What we need from you:

  • A minimum of 2 years in a business development role, ideally field/remotely based, is best suited and most guaranteed to succeed in this position.
  • You will be eager to share evidence of your proven track record in sales and will have an enviable “black book” of business connections who have mutual respect for your service offering.
  • You will also be able to talk confidently about experience in developing partnership or affiliate agreements with individuals or groups and associations.
  • Full clean UK Driving Licence
